We’ve had losses, we’ve had MEGA wins but the highlight for me is turning 2 with an incredible team culture. As an artist, curator and activist for 40 years, I ask you to examine the use and images of artworks in the Summer 2021 issue. Over the past 2-3 years, I’ve had to decline many social events, lost friends from going radio silent on them, worked numerous 24 hour days and gone through 2 MacBooks 😬⁠

To now having an incredible team, a thriving full-service digital marketing agency and have supported over 50 wonderful clients (and a much happier personal life too)! 🥳⁠ I am overwhelmed with all your hard work and support.Wow - 2 years of CB Digital Design 🤯 I’ve gone from a girl who resigned from a job she hated in 2019, to almost losing my house and car overnight when covid hit due to my first business going under, to quickly pivoting into a freelance marketer…⁠ Today has been so much hard work, but what a great job we have done ! Going forward I have formed a team to provide maintenance at the garden every fortnight to keep it looking beautiful. I know first hand how wonderful this garden is as I spent many months staring out into the garden as an inpatient whilst I underwent chemotherapy for bowel cancer. I managed to persuade 28 other colleagues from Harrison Clark Rickerbys Ltd Cheltenham office to come with me to the Oncology Garden at Cheltenham General Hospital to revamp the garden for the benefit of the oncology patients and their family members. Today represents my most proudest moment in my career. The Academy, an explicit sign of an authentic Christian life, enables students to live a life of charity and service to others. We send condolences to all those affected by this tragic event, including the friends and family of both Barney and Grace. Our Lady of Victory Academy, a private Catholic college preparatory school for young women, serves a broad spectrum of students.

We as a club will never forget her and the impact she has had on those blessed enough to know her and can say, without a doubt, that she will be sorely missed by UoNLHC both on and off the pitch. She was a bright light and our world is much more dim without her. Grace was never seen without a smile on her face and had an ability to spread joy to those around her. Those who knew her knew how much she loved hockey and how winning BUCS gold meant the world to her.Īs a person, Grace is described by friends, family, and loved ones as a caring and vibrant young woman with a heart of gold.

On the pitch, Grace was an enthusiastic and motivated player who had an incredible ability to encourage and uplift members of her team as well as others within the club. Grace was a talented hockey player on the ladies first team and was an integral part of their success this season. She was a committed and hardworking classmate who had a positive impact on all of those fortunate enough to know her. Grace was a dedicated medical student with a promising future ahead of her. The University of Nottingham ladies hockey club would like to pay tribute to a beloved member, Grace O’Malley-Kumar.
